Washington Commanders QB Sam Howell Moving to Chicago

The Washington Commanders, like other teams, have a 24-hour limit on when to rejoice in wins and brood over defeats.

Four days after losing to the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 4 on Thursday Night Football,

this week's game against the Chicago Bears offers the Commanders even more incentive to move over the previous week.

"Throughout much of the game, I played well. Sam Howell, the quarterback for Washington,

thought back on Week 4 and said, "We lost, and I wish I had made more plays to give us a chance.

After Philadelphia, we will travel to Chicago. We've been busy getting ready because the week was brief, but we're excited.

In the opening frame of the game at Lincoln Financial Field, Philadelphia Eagles defensive lineman Jalen Carter (98) is passed by Washington Commanders quarterback Sam Howell (14).

The Chicago Bears, who have the league's 31st-ranked defense in terms of yards per play, will be their opponent on Thursday night.

In addition, the Bears' passing defense is among the worst in the league with only 1.57 percent of dropbacks resulting in a quarterback sack.

"NFL games are never easy," Howell said of this week's contest against Chicago. "Despite their 0-4 record, this squad is no joke.
