Taylor Swift Fans, Beware of Ticket Scams: One Fan Lost $1,500

A woman reached out to Taylor Swift's social media followers to inquire if she had fallen victim to a $1,500 scam following her purchase of tour tickets from the website "Ticketfaster."

Just one day after achieving the remarkable feat of claiming all ten positions on the Billboard Hot 100 chart

with songs from her tenth studio album, "Midnights," Swift recently made an announcement.

Swift declared that she would embark on the "Eras" tour in 2019 to perform her greatest hits.

Using the TikTok handle @edgybrowsstudio, a user named Yhara shared her predicament, seeking information from others who may have used "Ticketfaster" before to verify its legitimacy.

Fans promptly responded to Yhara, confirming that she had indeed fallen victim to a scam.

Yhara began her video by stating her dilemma and seeking assistance from her viewers. She had eagerly anticipated the presale of tickets for Swift's tour.

Yhara also included a screenshot of her purchased tickets, which displayed her seat details and the date of the event.

Upon reflection, she realized that the official presale wasn't scheduled until November 15. She claimed to have obtained the tickets through "Ticketfaster."
