Mahomes Reaches 200 Touchdown Passes in Record Time

In Week 4 Sunday Night Football against the Jets, Patrick Mahomes, who has thrown 199 touchdown passes in his career, made NFL history.

Mahomes connected with a wide-open Noah Gray for a 34-yard touchdown late in the first quarter

to become the fastest player in league history to reach 200 touchdown passes in as few games.

In his 84th game, the Chiefs star broke Dan Marino's record. In 1989, Marino played in his 89th game as a professional and threw for his 200th touchdown.

With the Bears' victory last week, Mahomes reached 25,000 career passing yards. He surpassed Matthew Stafford's 90-game NFL record after 83 games.

Mahomes, 28, is on pace to have one of the best statistical NFL careers after reaching a new milestone that puts him in exclusive company.
