Kevin Costner Threatens to Sue Yellowstone Over Unpaid Salary

Kevin Costner claims that he is still owed his salary for the second half of Season 5 of Yellowstone and intends to take legal action to recover it.

During a recent appearance in a child support court related to his divorce from Christine Baumgartner,

Costner mentioned his plans to go to court to secure his earnings for the remaining episodes of Season 5.

Costner attributed his departure from the show to protracted and challenging negotiations surrounding Season 5.

Earlier reports had already indicated that Costner would be leaving the popular series.

Costner expressed his regret at not being able to continue his role in Yellowstone during the court hearing.

His decision to leave the show was influenced by his increasing unavailability as the series continued,

as he was slated to start filming Horizon: An American Saga, the first installment of a planned four-film series in which he was set to star.
